On-time airline statistics are published on the airline’s websites, but they’re difficult to locate.
It is crucial to have accurate statistics for travelers. DOT acknowledges the importance of this. The arrival times of passengers are used to calculate the amount of time they will need to make connections on flights. A majority of them also want to ensure that checked luggage can make the connection. It is now possible to determine how travelers can find out what the arrival record on time might be and where the information is available.
It’s not as simple as it could be. These figures are more vital but less reliable than they have ever been. There is a sense that airlines are in a slump in terms of sustaining their schedules. When schedules shift dramatically customers can ask for an entire refund. However, in the final second, these solutions aren’t always effective.
I was aware that on-time statistics information was posted on airline websites and I believed it was also available on websites of travel agencies such as Expedia, Travelocity, Priceline and so on. In fact, Travelers United worked with the Department of Transportation (DOT) to develop these regulations. I was aware that there was the law that requires websites to provide information on the time of day. But where is it? That was the question.
After some research I discovered that airlines’ websites have published information (although it’s difficult to locate). However, travel agencies online don’t publish any data at the very least, not one that I’ve found. After a deeper look at the DOT rules, I discovered that airlines must publish their data, while travel agents do not have this obligation. So, Lesson 1. Check the airline websites to find out about their records at any moment and not travel agencies on the internet.
The DOT’s On-Time Rule is a joke for April Fool’s day. This swayed the reality of the connection time.
According to DOT regulations On-time is defined as arriving that the aircraft arrives within fifteen minutes after its the scheduled arrival. Based on DOT on-time statistics, if the aircraft arrives more than 15 minutes later than the time it was scheduled to arrive it will not be considered to be late by DOT. The other terms employed by airlines is not necessary.
Be aware of this DOT statistic on on-time times If airlines show up “on time,” they might be 15 minutes behind. If you’re on the rear of the plane you could wait another 10 minutes for you to exit. This could mean that the time you connect to the internet is cut to 25 mins.

American Airlines(AA)

Delta Air Lines (DL)
Step 1: Visit the airline-schedule website and select an airline.
2. Click the flight number that appears in small print in the upper-right corner in the bottom-right corner of your box.
“+30 minutes” is defined as a flight that arrive more than 30 minutes ahead of their scheduled arrival time. “+60 minutes” is defined as a flight arriving at least 60 minutes behind their scheduled time for arrival.
Southwest Airlines (SWA)
Step 1: Visit The Schedule page.
3. Click the flight number on the flight list.
United Airlines (UA)
Step 1: Visit The Schedule page.
Step 2 Step 2: Click on “Flight Duration” link. This will open in the box.
Notice: United Airlines says on-time arrival time is in the 15-minute window of the scheduled time of arrival.
Based on United Airlines, “late arrival” is 30 or more minutes late to the scheduled departure time.
As per DOT, “late arrival” is longer than 15 minutes after the time of time of arrival.
Alaska Airlines (AK)
Step 1: Visit the page for scheduled flights.
Second step: click the link on to show the flights. The button will display Alaska Airlines’ on-time-box.
JetBlue (JBU)
Step 1: Visit The Schedule page.
2. Click the flight number on the left-hand side on the list of flights.
JetBlue lists connecting flights, but not the connection or layover time.
